Does it work with Polar checkouts and subscriptions?
Yes. ProofPup is built only for Polar — one-time purchases, subscriptions, and license sales. Connect via Polar OAuth2 with one click; we register the webhook and events flow in real time.
I only have a few sales — won't the widget look empty?
No. You control the display window, and notifications never show stale events pretending to be fresh. Aggregate mode shows honest totals — "14 people bought this week" — which works beautifully for low-volume stores.
Is showing customer names legal in the EU?
ProofPup shows only a first name and a country flag from your own Polar orders — no surnames, no emails, and nothing about your visitors. You can also hide names entirely and show product-only notifications. Displaying your customers’ data remains your responsibility as the seller, but the widget is designed to keep that surface as small as possible.
Can I hide prices or names?
Yes. Amounts, names, countries, and timestamps can each be toggled independently. Show as much or as little as fits your store.
Do I need a developer to set it up?

Every notification carries a small Verified mark. It tells your visitors the event came straight from a real Polar purchase via webhook — not typed into a dashboard. ProofPup cannot be used to fabricate notifications, and the mark is how your visitors know that.
How does it get purchase data?
Via Polar OAuth2 with read-only scopes. Polar pushes purchase and subscription events to ProofPup through a webhook in real time — no polling, no delays.
